Hello, My name is Nephthali Leannis. I am speaking on behalf of Grenths Grand Design [GxD]. We heard about your guild from Amora Morte and are interested in joining your alliance. We are a mainly pve guild and like to do missions/quests on both continents. We have several active helpful friendly members. We haven't done too much pvp but would like to learn that aspect of the game more also. We look forward to hearing from you. ;D

Hello Nephthali Leannis, Nice of you to take the time to stop by here and introduce yourself. I'm sure your post will get it's proper attention when the drugs I fed the officers wears off... . Waaa? You think I get the women to dance when they're sober? In the mean time if your like to talk directly to, or group with, one of the Scouts officers.... Guild officers in game consist of: Kaia Silverleaf - Leader Radicc Tyranntt - Officer Volitar Aurelianus - Officer Ophiacus Terebaulum - Officer Pale Blade - Officer Xiu Lian - Officer Lucrezia Terra - Officer Twisted Sister Jane - Officer Lago Mortis - Officer

I'm having some sort of memory coming back to me now, of a whispered conversation I had with a member of the Blitzers or was it the Mountain Wolves about some "new alliance application", while I was in the thick of battle in some sort of quest surrounded by suicidal henchies and way too many enemy.
Sorry about that, I wasn't able to concentrate much on the whispered conversation at the time, and I did indeed forgot afterwards to follow up on it. But it was something to the tune of the guild in question was somehow friends or once a part of or somehow in a positive manner connected to the guild of whoever whispered me (gak I feel so dumb now).
Anyway, Nephthali, feel free to whisper me about this in-game if you like, I am usually lying around dead somewhere waiting to get ressed, heh heh. Or of course any other in the list that Hadus provided.
Hadus is wrong by the way. We just let him think we are drunk when we are dancing, heh heh, gets him to buy us more Ale that way! ;D

Hello Hadus and Twisted Sister Jane, I regret the untimeliness of this reply. I have Jamei and Sister Tai to thank for that. I was just laying around while the Naga bosses were convening over my mangled corpse, while they healed each other over and over again and leaving me a spectator. One must really contemplate the predicament of whether Cantnan or Krytan healers are better.. Canthan healers will heal your party (not you much) and take forever to rez you (if at all). Tyrian healers will rez you in the middle of battle at the cost of their life just so u can have a higher DP ;D Cant we just get a good mix. I will try to get a whisper to you in-game today. You can also look for a pm from our officers.. Nephthali Leannis - Leader Kael Thealas - Officer Derwen Lunras - Officer Duke Poo - Officer Axel of the Vortex - Officer Darlor Foeslayer - Officer I will make sure they have the heads up and to pm you in-game or look for a special PM from one of your illustrious officers. You can also email me at morgan-fayt@hotmail.com if further questions are in need of a swift reply. PS. Next time there is a get together let me know where to pick up the ale.. as long is it is not too far for me to walk tipsy with it.

Well, anyone with the Linux Penguin as Avatar must be ok!
I certainly agree with your observations, Nephthali, regarding the Canthan healers. My Rit spends a lot of time face down on the ground, waiting to get ressed by the henchies. The advantage of this is that you can take a break to make a coffee while waiting to get ressed. Either the henchies win the battle and you and party are ressed and ready to go, or the henchies fail and you all get ressed at the nearest resurrection shrine.
I look forward to meeting you or one of the others in-game! At the moment I am bringing 4 different characters through Factions and they are at various stages, so it would be a good opportunity to team up with some of you! We could see which of us has a better "lying dead on the ground" look.

Hello Nephthali,
Sorry, I should have asked this before...
Could you tell us (our members) a bit more about your guild? Ultimately our members will want to know who they are aligning with. ;D
How long have you been playing GW? What server do you normally play on? How many members? Do you have a website?
Blahh, blahh, blahhh....hehe. Nothing too detailed, just a bit of info to paint a picture of Grenths Grand Design.
Thanks,
Hadus

Well Hadus... Personally I(Neph) was introduced to GW about 10 months ago by my brother Derwen Lunras. I have been addicted to it ever since. ;D Most of us have been playing for 6+ months and have been in the guild together. We are close knit, if u need assistance and I can do it I will type of characters. Unfortunately we never got a website up and running. We are pretty much active all the time possible. Some of us are in school (I'M NOT WOOT!!) so sometimes classes get in the way and we have members to leave Tyria to get an education. We have about 15 active members atm (2 more aren't very due to crazy work schedules) but we keep them around cause they are loyal to Grenths Grand Design. We normally play on American servers but sometimes decided to run over to the EU servers for some UW/FOW stuff if America cannt get favor. I don't really know what else to mention other than that we have a wide variety of character professions and are pretty versatile when it comes to matching up with the Charr, Undead, White Mantle, Stone Summit, and MURSAAT. We are making headway with the Canthan fertilizer also. Some of our members have already completed the Canthan Campaign.

Nephthali,
after getting a taste of the Deep last night, I have more incentive to try to get my ranger and mesmer from Arborstone mission to Cavalon, so maybe here is a chance to get together with some of your guild members (as well as my own, heh heh, volunteers?) for a joint venture.
Please spread the word to message me if I am online as Laekker Lulu or Twisted Sister Jane!

Hello ;D,
I tried to meet up with members of your alliance, but alas..at the time I was a foreigner in your home land. I really appreciate the willingness and acceptance of your alliance to assist me and other members of my guild (Grenths Grand Design) on the V. Square Mission.. We will make another attempt to meet in-game so we can check out eachothers fighting styles and see just how we can compliment each other. Til then....
Again.. feel free to pm any of the officers or myself mentioned in the prior messages.

Nephthali,
don't be discouraged by the current difficulty in finding us around. We seem all to be so busy getting our new Factions characters through Cantha, that we seem to have become quite dispersed and busy lately.
That was unfortunate with the Vizunah mission. I would have love to have helped but my only "local" character was being used in the Deep as a means to transport our alliance members down there.
We generally are quite helpful when someone puts out the call, and this has so far worked out very well and with great fun and satisfaction with our current alliance.
I guess I might be hard for you to find online, as I am on the European server (and time zone), but most of the SOT's are located on the American continent.

That is very comforting to know Twisted Sister Jane,
I know that from our quick message session on line and the IMMEDIATE response from your alliance members to assist us with that mission that this is an alliance WE(GxD) would love to be apart of.
I am sorry that it is taking so long to get everything together.. I am in the process of moving and just do it on the weekends right now..I will pass the word around and hope most of my guild mates will be able to get to the get together this weekend nenearen but fear I will not be able to attend. Again moving is a pain!!
I look forward to another chance to meet up with anyone from the alliance so we can join because just from the few moments talking on line you guys seem like a LEET group to ally with.

Hi Nephtali, I believe an invitation to the alliance is forthcoming, we just need to get ahold of someone with the power to do so

That is wonderful to know Twisted Sister...I was beginning to wonder if this acceptance into the alliance was ever going to take place. I am real close to moving all of my stuff to my new location and will be getting high-speed internet on wednesday..I refuse to use dial-up So again thanks.. O Over the course of the next week (after Wednesday) I will be able to be on-line for a lot more during the days so if anyone is up for killing or faction hunting or working on Tyrian soil.. holla at me. I will talk to you l8r for I notice the hench's rez a lot quicker now but cannot heal worth a pile of refried beans, Neph

If we had the power to do so, Grenth's Grand Design would already have been invited to join the alliance. Unfortunately the process is being held up by a technical issue: only the leader of the guild that is leading the alliance has the power to invite new guilds into the alliance. And for some reason unknown to the rest of us in SOT, our leader Kaia has been away for about a week and a half now.
For whatever reason, Anet has implemented alliances like this, perhaps for some good reason, but in this case it seems to be a flawed design. Because of Kaia's absence, nothing can be done. So all I can say is please try to be patient, and let us hope Kaia returns soon.
In the meantime, please let all your members know that they can whisper us ingame - we will need to use the whisper messaging and friend's lists for the time being.
Regards, Twisted Sister Jane
