I'm looking for a little help here. I'm suffering from GW withdrawal symptoms. My job takes me away from home all round the UK, mostly to hospitals and other medical establishments. I stay in all sorts of accommodation, sometimes hotels, sometimes on site at the hospital. I carry my trusty laptop with me and can often get a broadband connection so I like to play GW when I can. However, often online gaming isn't possible because of network restrictions (like right now). Soooo, I'm thinking of subscribing to one of the 3G networks available in the UK so that I can be independent. They are a bit expensive though. Can someone tell me how much data is typically transferred (per hour?)when playing GW so that I can select a 3G broadband tariff? I believe if you press shift-F10 when playing you can get graphs showing data usage. I can get 1 gb per month for £8.51 from Three. It doesn't seem much but I would only use it for maybe 3 or 4 evenings a month. Thanks Scouts!

It varies BIG TIME game to game, A game like rise of nations will suck up maybe a meg every 2 hours, and a game like battlefield 2 will take 3 gig in a week, and i heard WoW does about 750 megs for 190 hours of playing
I would say that guild wars, unless you have to download every area constantly, would be held over with just 1gig no problem
