I don't usually use certain builds, and prefer to create my own. However the domain of anguish is a pain and this team build works great, thought you all would like to try it sometime, i can be ele or monk or even the part ranger bonded it yesterday and it works great "rebirth" through gates to save time although for this to work cool you do need candy canes, other than that simply fight through ;D ;D ;D gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Build:Team_-_Foundry_Balanced

Thanks for posting that up That is the basic team build I have used when going there. I got as far as the second quest where you have to rescue the Forgotten prisoners. We lost a Monk from error 7 and one of the Forgotten prisoners got killed due to no Spell Breaker so the Torturewebs took him down quickly. If anyone wants to try out this build, I would be willing to join

Is this area so difficult/impossible that specialty builds are needed?
Uh, anyone interested in a good old Deep trip?

There are probably several viable party builds, but the area is a tough one.
I guess the most important thing is to have some very good agro control, since no monk can outheal the damage if the full force strikes the entire party. There are also some different area effects that prevent you from effectively evade attacks, spam skills and kite. Some monster groups are also a bit hard to handle with standard balanced build, I have ran into a group of 20 lvl 28 touch-rangers.
Tha last Boss in the area should be one particulary tough cookie I heard.

Is this area so difficult/impossible that specialty builds are needed? Uh, anyone interested in a good old Deep trip? Specialty builds are not really needed here. You just need a really good balance between tanking, damage dealing and support. Positioning your party is most important so the tank can bodyblock. Plus, everyone targeting the same thing is a must when taking down an enemy Monk. I think a full team of Scouts could complete these areas. I was so close to completing the Foundry of Failed Creations yesterday. Then one person got Error 7 and another had to leave. The description of the place said the other side of the Door of Komali was there (where the Titans came out in Abaddon's Mouth), but I did not see it. Maybe I missed it.
