Well I have finally done it at long last!
One of my long term aims when I first started Guild Wars last September was to gain all of the skills including the elites from the Prophecies and Factions campaigns on one character – my Ranger, Dana Hawkeye.
Today I got the last remaining 2 of the 784 skills available across all of the professions at approximately the 8,476,500 xp point.
There is no title for this, nor was I aware, when I started collecting them all, that the skills would be needed for the heroes in Nightfall, it was just something I have wanted to do. I don’t believe there ever will be a title for this either. In fact, I had started doing this before Factions came out ….. Before titles were invented.
I got the final skill points with an alliance party in the Fissure of Woe, made up of SoT, BG and HOHH members …….. Thanks go to all of them.
Now I can rest from getting skill points for a few days until the release of Nightfall ………. 350 new skills I believe.
Regards Dana Hawkeye - Ranger

Grats Dana! A real effort!
What next? Will you attempt to collect one of every green item?

Good morning, everyone!
Congratulations, a real big accomplishment, Dana!
I do not want to think about the time and effort it has taken to do this. :-)
(.....and I was sooo proud when I had hunted down the all the elites in Prophesy in January. Now seem kind of....small, in comparison, hehe)

Thanks Gigs, Jane and Lago for the congratulations. In a way, it was Lago that started me off of on 'this quest' a long long time ago back in Tyria. Lago was way ahead of me in collecting the elites .......... only I never stopped at collecting elites. Thanks once again.

Thanks Boys!
Its all quite easy really, its just that when you start, there are so many to collect and it does I admit seem a bit daunting at first, but once you get past the halfway mark, you know you are well on your way.
The way I did it was to collect my primary profession ones first including the elites, then all the rest of the elites in the game, then work through getting the skills for my normal usual secondary profession, then the others in succession.
The best way I found to get the neccessary skill points was to do the quests in the Fissure of Woe ...... as far as I can see, there is no faster way. I found that I could average 5 skill points a trip, with some trips more than that, depending on group, plus the added bonus of loot, gold chests and Obsidian Shards as well of course the high XP. Rarely did I use a scroll and if I did it was usually in the Spider Cave.
Doing this FoW trip at least once a day, the skills obtained soon mount up. I also found that by doing it this way, the skill buying and capture signet buying was self funding from the loot obtained in FoW.
Its an easy, achievable goal, which anyone can do, but I'll admit, it can become obsessive.
Good luck and best wishes to any others that are going for it.
