Thanks for the link Khorrax, I had to check it with my old screenies. The statues have always been there, there is also a ring of them right in beginning of the blood pools in the "Spawning Pools" area.
However, it would have been very fascinating with some changes to the UW/FoW once in a while.

After you killed shiro, the envoi says: "This is not the end for you Shiro. We will bring you to the underworld where you suffer so much, you wish it was your end" (or something like that....has been a while since I last killed him) Anyway. It would be great to have a "Underwolrd" with different rooms, where each room or Area, contains the evil-of-the-evelist creatures, you killed during the different episodes. Like the first room, you have Justicar habblion with his whitemantle and Mursaats (level 28 ofcourse ) and the endboss is that evil *forgot his name* Then the next room, we meet Shiro and friends, and so on *notice his imagination takes over control of reality* Anyway.....it would be nice. we'll C what Anet will bring us with Nightfall.

Very good idea, GworthoX! By the way, I posted some suggestions for a change in the design of the "elite areas" in one of the major forums some time ago. Today the predictablility makes them much less challenging after a couple of times. When you know all the spawns/patrols in UW/FoW they go from "extremely hard" to "a bit more than average challenging". I would have prefered more random spawns/patrols and monster types. If you when enter UW meet a party of 4 mindblades and 2 aatraxes one time and 3 smiters and 3 charged blacknesses the next, things might very fast get very challenging even the 20th time you enter. You could then cut down on "stupid death traps" in the Elite missions. Since almost every party going there now know how to avoid them they are pretty pointless. The challenging they pose for new teams on their "virgin journey" is immense. I bet no team can do an elite mission of todays design, straight through without any knowledge before about what is coming. But as soon as the death traps are identified and the knowledge spread, they are simple useless. Random spawns also mean you could cut down the number of foes. 50 times 10 monsters are not harder than 10 times 10 monsters, only a lot more tedious. regards, Lago Mortis
