All these people dieing.... It depends if you want to continue along Ironman trips Lee. If you do, carry on following the rules, you just can't win. Otherwise you might as well play normally.

Looks like Flossie II stands a good chance of winning this thing as long as she never plays ;D
Though it would seem like rather the coward's way out...

Lee even if you continue playing the char, the still alive iron competitors cannot group with you. So feel free to continue playing the monk if you'd like, or just hold onto the slot for the Iron 2 (revenge of Zalis). BTW, did you happen to get a screen shot of your corpse? Mazz, I'll wait to get a proper screen shot of you, but I've added the bookmark in the first post.

No -there's no shot of my corpse - I escaped to GH - Already death ( So , I can't continue playing like this without chance to win ( , of course)?

You can continue playing to your hearts desire - we (those still alive in the competition) cannot party with you. Mainly because the concept is to be able to go on without help from outside forces. Outsiders being those that have died!

Is it too late to join the Ironman escapades?

Given the extreme nature of your Hardware travails... no, I'd say its not too late for you to join the escapades. Just keep in mind all the various "rules" and such we've come to learn and love.
I will say to everyone that this coming weekend is the "last chance" to create your ironman character. If you haven't created one by EOD Sunday then you're out. Note, "created" means started the char and posted their name and screen shot in this thread.

I'm confused. Mazz and Lee - did you die? If you did, you are not allowed to carry on. You can recreate the character, but you can't play with other Ironmen.

Mazz did not die (yet)... unless I missed something. Lee did die.
So given that - Lee you cannot create a new char, Mazz can. Again, if you haven't created an ironman char and want to get in on this... you have until EOD Sunday. Once you've died - you're out.

That's why I said from the beginning that you'll run into trouble with these rules (Note: the four most rewarding words in any language? "I told you so!"). For one thing drop outs will be excluded, spoils the fun. In the end, when the going gets tough and you might finally make 6 or 8 people groups, you may not even have 4 left at the same time. Basically the game will become extremely defensive in the end, with the last man standing being the one not playing

where's that raspberry smiley? We've got enough and I know that I for one have already had a great time being a "newb" again. Every drop is valuable. I'm having to plan ahead on which skills I buy. Its great stuff AND I get to share it. OF course this weekend with its gamer point farming and afking madness has paused our adventures, but I'm sure we'll be in full force soon.

where's that raspberry smiley? ... We've got enough and I know that I for one have already had a great time being a "newb" again. Don't get me wrong. I don't want to spoil your event; I had a great time myself recreating the good old times with the prophecies' Lady (although at some point survivor took precedent). Your rules just spell problems with shrinking ranks [excluding willing players, in the long run pushing group size below reasonable numbers] which will thwart the contest.

Suggestion. Our fallen and resurrected comrades could act as henchies - they follow the same rules but are only excluded from an eventual final iron-survivor title. (they even can recreate a new character to allow to go for the GW-survivor) Would this fit in to your Scheme Bob?
Mazz - let the fun continue!

Well... when I die, it will be because I was the last person standing! Good idea Mazz. I'll have to think on it, we might make that part of Ironman II
