All went well in these early days. Many monsters fell by the wayside and even a few bosses felt our wrath (after much debating and "You First" on TS). The adventurers made their way bravely through the wilderness - providing add and picking up packages for the not so brave minions of the land. Our abilities were growing and there was much pooling of resources and knowledge. We ventured forth deciding to obtain many pretty petals of the iboga plant to help the scholars learn. As we rounded a corner we saw Ensign Lumi a level 19 boss. Surely our brave band could banish him back into the sea. (note that we were level 6 through 8). RIP Zalis With that, we have our first death in the competition. Zalis handled it with much grace and calmly waited while the survivors finished up their area. His belongings were handed out or sold off and the gold passed along to the living. It was a sad day. Officially, this means no one else can enter the contest. Realistically, you have this weekend in which to begin your ironman (or ironwoman). SO if you want to participate, please get your char created asap and put a nice "living" picture here. I'll be looking forward to many more close encounters and many fewer deaths.

Notes on important decisions we made:
You can take the Xunlai "quest" which costs you 50g, but gives you 250 exp. You may open your storage and place items into it. You may not take anything out of storage - EVER. The quest "command training" is impossible with a naked skill bar hero. Since this opens your ironman up to no danger while the quest is going, it is alright to use a fully kitted out hero )or heros) to complete this one quest.
Newest rules/thoughts: No usage of the Historian No usage of Gwen until you're level 20 Gifts from random strangers are alright as long as its low worth stuff (free single unit of dust for instance).

Its going to be a short contest if we don't have anyone else! 2 Paras and a Mesmer is not what I'd call world beating (yet)!

I'll be along, I just had a busy weekend. I'm finally starting to get myself together from Sue leaving, so I've been out making new friends and meeting new ladies, as well as talking to lawyers and continuing to handle all the Suzy Homemaker stuff. Lol, being single again is hard work. I'll see if I can catch up with you guys during the week or next weekend to get some of this stuff done. Chris

Instead of deleting, I probably should've just kept going w/ the stipulation of never winning. Doh.

Stormy is another Mesmer, and I am yet a secondary ELe, so - we grow up . Jason is another monk I've teamed with yesterday . I just need to used to that - to be a monk :-) I 'm still kind of "tanking" - since I'm lower lvl , and my high lvl attribute points are on Smithing :-) Still acting as a warrior. But game will teach me - it was awful feeling today to see Stormy's health bar lower than 50 ,and mine lowering quickly , and there where no Dunkoro ,Ano , or Fossie to do the job - I must do that too :..., but we survived :-).................................

And Bob ,today with Dela during the game - we spontaneously start "sing " that: Artist: Black Sabbath Title: Iron Man Has he lost his mind? Can he see or is he blind? Can he walk at all, Or if he moves will he fall? Is he alive or dead? Has he thoughts within his head? We'll just pass him there Why should we even care? He was turned to steel In the great magnetic field Where he traveled time For the future of mankind Nobody wants him He just stares at the world Planning his vengeance That he will soon unfold Now the time is here For iron man to spread fear Vengeance from the grave Kills the people he once saved Nobody wants him They just turn their heads Nobody helps him Now he has his revenge Heavy boots of lead Fills his victims full of dread Running as fast as they can Iron man lives again! May be You forget to put it on top :-)

Lee pretty much told you our story from yesterday... I had the oportunity to have personal monk with me while leveling up in the plains outside the Sunspear Great Hall. Some nasty corsairs started to beat me and then a high level insects (7-8 lvl) came to join the fun. Lee got me when my health was 17... After some run for your live irongirl we managed to survive and after a while Poturi got his sword back and we got to Champions Dawn which was quite a relief Here is my iron girl: Currently she is lvl 8 and is up to walking in Cliffs with Dunkoro. I just wanted to ask if we can go to EotN when we get to lvl 10? Because there is Journey to the North and Max lvl armor in a matter of a short run.

So... sounds like we have (so far) 2 monks, 2 paragons, and 2 mesmers... (and one dead ranger). What are the other (still quiet) folks running?

Mazz Aeternitus reporting.
just replace the text in Zalis's picture ... I look exactly alike. I also got a ranger and chose paragon secondary. (very Scout like!) Lee & Towel leveled me up to lvl 6 now. (Still need to do the Xunlai quest & Command training) Lee gave me nearly a hart-attack ... never saw such an offensive monk (good I equipped the paragon healing signet). Don't do that ever again Lee ( but both of you thanks for getting me to the deadly level 6 ... in memoriam Zalis)

Iron Lee Maiden reporting : Don't worry Mazz - can't do that anymore.... Today for seconds I dyed ,when with Stormy's mesmer we tried to collect some beautiful Iboga flowers \( ibogas R 10th lvl - 3 or 4 in group) and and few scarpies ( 7 - 8 lvl ) came to join the ibogas - so I waited for Storm to escape to GH - he where waited for me - so ,when I did - was too late So, pls advice - to continue playing my char strictly to the Iron rules ,and wait for team of death Irons , to restart the char ,or to play it normally , cozz I'm really found of my new role ? Leaving her like this until future instructions !
