Yesterday i was trying to get my last 1.4% of Cantha's map, but unfortunately it is in Jade Quarry mission. As you know the mission is dead and I wanted to ask you to come with me to make parties for the 2 sides and give chance everyone who is looking to map it to make it. We need 16 people so Alliance Members are welcome. One problem is that my play times currently are early in the EU time and there are almost no Scouts online (allies too). So can someone advertise the idea to the Allies. It will be nice if we can make the event this Saturday Night (27th) starting to gather parties at GH at 7pm GMT. If we can't organise thing that fast my next option is next Saturday (4th November). Hope you are interested!

I'd definitely be up for doing this. I'd like to get some more of the Canthan map uncovered as well. I don't think I'll be able to do it this weekend as I still have family visiting. For me the next weekend, the 4th, would be best. But if you get a group together for this Saturday go for it, don't wait up for me. ;D

I'm the same as Jaxx ... I can't do this weekend but the weekend after is fine by me. I haven't really gone for any of the mapping titles properly but to get some of the more difficult parts out of the way is always a bonus.

Knowing how frustrating getting that last piece of Cantha in the Jade Quarry is, I will be more than happy to help out if I am on at that time. It took me over two weeks of constantly popping in and out of the Quarry to be lucky enough to find full groups for both sides. Funny enough, the Luxon side was made up of random people just wanting to map and when we got into the Quarry, the Kurzik side was a guild who just wanted to map! So, it turned out really great, we all mapped the quarry, then fought. it was pretty fun.

Lol .... why is it that no-one can ever find enough people to actually be able to get two teams together to map/fight at the Jade Quarry? You'd think it wouldn't be so hard ....

This weekend will be rough due to the Mad King event... But if I'm on, I'll help out with the mapping - always good to have another GMC in the group!
Folks are more interested in doing AB instead of Jade Quarry/Forest. Silly but true.
BTW, make sure you use the cartog made easy mod in TexMod. It will really help you make sure you get all the juicy bits of the arena.

BTW, make sure you use the cartog made easy mod in TexMod. It will really help you make sure you get all the juicy bits of the arena. This is not really neccessary to have, to obtain GMC. As long as you 'face the wall and wall hug' you should easily get the titles. If you want any advice or tips to getting some 0.1% of maps, give me a call when I am online. Both my main chars, Dana and Trudi re Legendary Grandmaster Cartographers and both of their maps are different to each other. Dana

While not necessary - it does make life *much* easier. Basically it lets you avoid the eye straining comparing of a "perfect" map with yours to find the odd edges of fog that you have. Canthan is especially bad with this (this was the last one I completed of the three).
There is some good wiggle room (as Dana can attest to), but I don't know of any way you can get the title without at least partially running through the Quarry and Forest maps.

Bobrath you and the advertised by you TexMod are my heroes! Im using it for some time. I have 2 or 3 very tiny corner to uncover besides Jade Quarry so really hope it will be enough to get the title. Thanks for the support Scouts! See you there on 4th November!

Just a heads up on that mod - when I used it, there were parts that I had uncovered that it had not. I sent feedback to the builder, but I'm unsure if he's updated his maps - you might check back, but he did verify to me that the initial map loaded was indeed a 100%er.

There are several ''versions'' of 100% maps - I havent seen two the same yet, because there is such a leeway (0.5%) on the maps.

FYI, if folks are interested after we help open up the Quarry.... would there be a desire for either a FoW or Tombs run on Saturday?

Sure! I hope my girldfriend allows me to play in the evening And we need more people for the wallhug! If anyone can call the allies it will be nice. And can we plan which of us are going at the kurzick and which on luxon side? I don't care which side I go.

Last time I did it, we did two "battles". This way you could map the starting camps of both sides as well.

A tip for the Jade Quarry/Forest areas is also to do both sides of the video intro as well, as this also clears some fog.

I've only poked my head into the FoW and it's been ages since I've done a Tombs run. I just want to make sure we are all on the same page. This is for this Saturday (which is the 3rd) and not the 4th (wich is Sunday). Right? Either way I'm up for it. ;D
