I would just like to say, that last night was my first step into trans continental co-operation within the Guild.
We successfully completed the mission and bonus out of Aurora Glade as well as the Villianry of Galrath quest - Dana Hawkeye (me), a friend Mighty Moo (who incidently has just joined the Guild), Bow Line and Twisted Sister Dawn from Europe and Starbucks, Sandy and South Jersey Girl from North America.
It was quite successful, very enjoyable and I think we learned a few tricks, tips and other 'bits' of GW knowledge from both sides of the Atlantic - long may this type of venture continue.
Any time, anyone wants to do this type of thing, please just give us a Guild call - we can then meet up in an International District somewhere.

That was fun.....lol..... Star and I were just going to do it ourselves with some henchies, but when we asked if there were any volunteers.....well before we know if we had a full party ....and that’s that our guild is all about.......thanks...so if you ever need Star and Angel just shine the guild spot light in the sky...lol..... and will be there...

I too enjoyed doing the missions and quest with our friends from across the pond. Not only did I learn some GW tips but I also learned the difference between shephards and cottage pie!
We had a great time and it seemed to me anyway like we had been doing adventures together for eons.
I am looking forward to our next "trans-continental" coop. Give Angel and I a shout anytime.

After a few weeks in the guild, I can say for certain that this trans-continental playing seems to be working out very well! On many occasions so far we have had a multi-continental party (Australia, North America and Europe including Croatia) beating up on everything from grasps to dwarves to Mursaats.
I for one think this is truely amazing, considering how far we are from each other geographically, and how little lag is experienced (at least speaking for myself).
Lets keep it up!

I have also had lots of fun with the trans-continental playing. Our friends on the Euro servers have helped out alot, and there always seems to be a good amount of guildies on whenever I'm on. This game gets more fun by the day. I haven't experienced any lag either when playing in the international dist.

After some inital connections problems, yesterday turned out to be great! First I got into a nice PUG in FoW. Then we did a guild tour with all Southern Shiverpeak missions, including bonuses, in one haul.
We were a bit light on monks the first 2 missions, we only had Alesia, but it went pretty well anyway. We had two swordfighting Mesmers that did a good tank job for the 2 missions and 3 bonuses we had no warrior, great job! When we finally did Thunderkeep we got a full guild team with two great monks.
Things went very smoothly for the whole tour. Thanks to everyone that joined! I think a total of 10 guild members participated. We certainly need a higher party limit soon!
Regards, Lago Mortis (very happy for finally getting the Thunderkeep bonus!)

Lago is referring to Mistress Kara Rahl and my "first day out" using Illusionary Weaponry. Wierd skill indeed, had it for such a long time and didn't know what to do with it. But I just found out yesterday it deals up to 42 armour ignoring damage per hit when 16 points are set on Illusion. Combine that with the warrior skill Flurry (you get no 25% decrease in damage when using flurry with illusionary weaponry!) and a few Monks in the background healing (hey, we Mesmers are only wearing flimsy dresses) and the result was awesome!
Regarding the international cooperation, yes, it was a good day yesterday!

It was a good run, and when I get home I'll try and put up the screen shots I took afterwards. It was a nice sight, all those green capes . Of course we couldn't be serious for too long. ;D Anyone up for Ring of Fire tonight? I've almost caught up.

Last night's escapade at the Shiverpeak missions was thoroughly fun, trying to tank as mesmer...lol... Thanks for letting us do this... Also the last roundtrip through the desert missions was quite fun... I think we made it to the GW book of records for the Thirsty River mission, we had remaining almost half a minute per killed team. Unfortunately every town and outpost ran out of ice cream, even though Cerryl promised the team a treat. I also took loads of screenshots and Cerryl is definitely right...we couldn't stand still and look serious for long, before everyone burst into a wild dance! We made quite a stare for the few peeps that were standing there. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Stand in line, gals and guys (Cerryl Nyrim, Bow Line, Lago Mortis, Dana Hawkeye, Mistress Kara Rahl, Laekker Lulu) Showing off our capes High stepping in the Shiverpeaks Party time!

That's why he was dancing so funny. They don't have a /stopdropandroll emote. Should have used the Water Trident I captured. Doh!
