With the release of factions only 23 days away now, I am franticly finishing things off, one of those things is mission bonuses. I have always wanted to go through all missions start to end in one go. So I got thinking, why not do it as a guild event. We would start at the Great Northern Wall, and work our way through to Hells Precipice, the latter stages could be used for skill runs as well.

I have thought of that myself.
You probably have to include more members after a while (4-6-8) if you do not want to make it all with a 4 person party. You can also start out with two 4 person parties and combine them after the desert.

That's a long run!! You'd probably go through a couple pair of leather boots trying to do that in a 24 hour period. LOL

Wow what an ambitious plan! I am up for helping any members that want to go back and tackle missing missions and/or quests. Like Volitar two of my toons skipped the jungle entirely going from ToA to Sanctum Cay and on to the desert (having a party of 7 henchies does make the journey easier). I have picked up a few missing jungles ones lately but have more to go with sporadic holes with my other toons. Looks like we all have the same agenda with slightly differing approaches! 100% M&B by Factions release! Last one done is a rotten devourer egg! ;D

Really really really sorry that we were busy in FOW when some of you guys came online last night. I for one would have like to have helped in the missions you were doing last night! Turns out I never saw so many Obsidian Shards drop in FOW as last night. Unfortunately I lagged out with some connection error (happens so rarely with me) after one of the quests and had to end my tour prematurely.
Hope some of us on both sides of the ocean can meet this weekend!

Hiya
I would just like to reiterate what TS Jane has just posted. We were all in Fissure of Woe last night where it was 'raining shards' - I think that there was something like about a dozen dropped last night + a sapphire. Incidently this has been happening for the last couple of days now ............ I have picked up 11 shards out of 4 FoW trips in two days, including a Ruby.
I think we would all have helped out if we perhaps had'nt have been in there. If anyone needs help from us Euro members, then we are normally online from 1900 BST (7pm) - we would all only be too glad to help out as some of you have found out already.
Once again, sorry about last night.

Woohoo, I made it to the desert and I'm up to lvl 19!!! A week and a half ago I was 17 and in the Wilds, and I couldn't have done it without help from all of you. It's actually kind of fun to jump on right when I come home from work, and play with some of the nightowl Euro members, and then break for awhile and join again with the Amer members. Best of both worlds. Thanks again. We just need to find some Korean members, then the Sun will never set on the Scouts of Tyria!!!!

Hey Cerryl, I got stuck in the final portion of the ascention tasks where you have to kill a progression of bosses. I was traveling with henchies at the time because of my wierd hours and short play time. Once the guild came to my rescue it was a breeze so I'm there for you when you need it. Just don't waste too much time with the henchies like I did...hehe

One of the areas where guild members, especially us European members, really can help out is travelling around the desert, if you want to do it the right way and not get run.
None of my characters have ever been run anywhere, and I truely only want to get from point A to point B by walking/fighting if teleporting is not an option. What I truely dislike about this game is that so many players have the desire only to get run, or the misconception that the only way to travel around the desert (and shiverpeaks) is to get run. And so what really has irked me about getting all my characters to the desert is that it has been impossible to find a PUG group that would open up this part of the map without running. Until I met my current friends, I did this part of the map mostly with henchy groups.
However, most of my playing friends share my sentiments and do not like running or getting run, and are most willing to help anyone get anywhere around the desert (or anyplace for that matter) in "the old fashioned way". And a large number of these playing friends have also joined the Scouts.
So if anyone feels like I do and wants help travelling someplace without running, call on us!
Regards, Twisted Sister Jane

I was tired last night, a couple times toward the end my eyes started closing by themselves. What was I doing that was so funny? I don't remember dying much. I did add armor of earth to try and help boost my armor, and keep from dying. I also got new armor in the Oasis last night. I just need to remember to run away more often. Hope I didn't make too big a fool of myself...
Basically I'm trying to fast track Cerryl to catch up with everyone before Factions comes out.

I feel like I’m on a cloud and I start to fall asleep.....like last night.....I think the first time you died that was my mistake......oops!!....daydreaming again....sorry about that.......but if your dp ever get to 60% let me know ........Star and I have a stash of candy canes that you wouldn't believe....just ask the other guildies....and they will tell you....LOL.......anyhoo…. Cerryl keep me on my toes and keep me laughing......;)and I will do my best to catch you up too......

Haha, well I think my popularity was the humor you found. Since I've added Armor of Earth to my build, I've died alot less frequently, and thru the desert that's pretty good. Now I just need to get infused, b/c those mursaats were kicking my butt.

Haha, well I think my popularity was the humor you found. Since I've added Armor of Earth to my build, I've died alot less frequently, and thru the desert that's pretty good. Now I just need to get infused, b/c those mursaats were kicking my butt. Ahhh, I remember those joyous days of wandering through Shiverpeaks without being infused. When Laekker Lulu, my first character, got to Shiverpeaks, I decided to walk her through to the various outposts and towns before doing any of the missions. So you can imagine that the going was a bit rough when I decided to travel from Iron Mines to Marhan's Grotto to get a peek at the 15K armour. Thunderhead Keep is closer to the Grotto, but I didn't know this at the time, nor did I understand what being infused does for you. This was a trip I took with henchies, and I actually completed it (I am stubborn) but it took hours of playing time. After beginning to meet the Mursaats and Jades, we quickly got up to -60 dp, and also got used to the long walk back from the resurrection shrine near Iron Mines. We were able to kill one, maybe two of the enemy per party death. Hmm, I recommend getting infused first
