I don't have any immediate plans this weekend, so I'll make an effort to be there. Since none of my toons have done SF (been to the general Grenths Footprint area with most of them), I'll just make sure I get everyone up there by then.
Any preference for professions or builds I should be working toward?

MMs are always good, along with bonders, stance tanks, Barrage rangers... nukers, party support Rits and Paras... hmm... oh yeah and I'm sure Mesmers have a reason to exist! If we can do Urgoz with only one monk, I think we can make just about any group of chars work out.

Yes, we just had to put up with Ano moaning that he didn't have enough energy for another Heal Party.

OK That does it! You guys didn't bother to gently walk away from fire plants attacks just counting on this tiny monk to keep you healthy. Remember the room where Radicc said Wow, that's a LOT of Wardens! ? After successfully aggroing the first group the endorphins took hold of our enthusiastic party and we(?) decided(?) to take on the whole bunch (like 40 of them) to make up for some time lost finding the right route. And then I didn't mention the nice stroll many of you took into the Inner Sanctum of Urgosz, hugging the explosive growths with some kinky affection? I indeed have to admit that even with my +15/-1 energy focus (giving me a total of 72) I ran out out of energy every now and then. And I was planning on monking on both the SF trip this weekend (perhaps even freshening up on some bonding) and perhaps join the TEL Deep trip. Now I wouldn't like to make the Scouts look bad. Hmmmmm, I like a challenge and probably that is why am in this guild of very confident and friendly people! GIMME MORE! ;D Anomander

Ano, I didn't hear anyone complaining about lack of healing on that trip. (to my recollection, at least) We understood that you were our primary party heal, even with Angel's Resto and other damage reduction. Our aggro habits may have been overzealous at times, but it was often laughed off in the sense of "Whoops, we messed that up". (as opposed to "Dangit, Ano, give me a heal now!!11one!1eleven!") So, again, to Ano.

Just to clear up any Euro-humour confusions. I think both mine and Ano's last posts were slightly in-jest.

Not knowing what "in-jest" means I do however think that I must agree with Towel. I hoped the smilies said enough. Just kidding about the tongue-in-cheek comments on my healing. And let's remember the role of both Para's and Rit have been very important too to survive the adventure! Just to make sure: ;D

Pfft... My pulling was excellent it was the minions doing all the overly aggressive pursuit of pop ups, warden mobs, and other assorted meanie clumping. I was very much impressed by our single monk + dual para + rit build as it made for a very scare free experience. Course once I got to 59% dp, I didn't have anything more to lose (love the fire flower bridge). I appreciated the offer of candy to make it all better, but well why throw good candy at a puller how's best task is ... dieing?

Great trip, started out with two teams of Scouts + Khorrax from DVDF, eventually ended up with a full team of Scouts. Image is a little large (500kB), so here's a linky of the final victory pose: img54.imageshack.us/img54/3791/sftriptx0.jpg

Yep, was a really fun trip and a great success (if a little confusing at the beggining!). Some pics from the outing... Ano leading by example: Angel insisted on carrying this guy around, not quite sure why: Sorrow's Monument on Display in the Hall: And some bigger full-screen pics... The Furnace The big fire-knockdown-death thingy. Another version of the victory pose - with Ano's honorary guest.

I am soooo disappointed I was unable to come......My daughter hogged all my GW time Saturday. I couldn't be too upset because she is at school all week and can only play on the weekends and I can pretty much play whenever I want. darn it, now I'm going to have to do it by myself....*sniffles*
