Date, Time, and Location: Saturday, 6th October at 7PM GMT in Deldrimor War Camp.
So, lets get prepared to do Sorrow's Furnace. This is done with a party size of 8, so if we get as much interest as last time, we will need to form two groups, involving 16 people (or get heroes)! The main objective will be to complete the quest To Sorrow's Furnace. To come to this trip, you will need to have been to Deldrimor War Camp in the Southern Shiverpeaks. The quest can be obtained right outside that outpost. Sorrow's Furnace acts a bit like missions in Nightfall with this quest. It is usually an explorable area with resurrection shrines, but during this quest it is like a mini-mission and they are disabled. The quest is in four parts, and we will have to resign and re-enter the Furnace for each part, I believe. We just need to set a date. It worked well last week, so how is Saturday, 6th October at 7PM GMT?

I won't be able to make that day or time, but the world doesn't revolve around me.
Codfael's having his bachelor's party that evening, wedding follows a week later. So tell him congrats if you see him online. (he has odd online hours)
*edit* My Warrior is the only character who has been there, but my Monk isn't far away. (not that I make any claims to being an experienced monk) Paragon can be pushed thru after a few missions to make it.

Sounds great! But weekends are nearly impossible for me to attend - could we have an in-week session (like a Wednesday for example).
I'm having a micro-holiday anyway 5-8 October. Cheers, Mazz

I can't make that. My Mom and step Dad are in town this weekend and we'll all be shooting in a regional championship. My first match in a while, so we'll see just how rusty I am. Anyway, I'm definitely interested in an outing that is during the week. Even another weekend, but like Zalis said, the world doesn't revolve around me. ;D

Sounds like the day and time is not a good one. The problem with doing it during the week is allowing people to get home for work / get some sleep before work the next day. What is the earliest you can make it in the US? Because if it's, say, 7PM EDT, that's 1AM in Central Europe!

Weekends work best for my Elite mission participation, with Sunday afternoons typically being the best. 7PM EDT is fine for me but, like you said, it's not a good Euro time. That's the tricky part of cross-continental excursions.

Don't forget your Black Moa chicks. As good an opportunity as any to get 'em hatched, so start collecting the materials.

Well, Mid week trips are ok for me EXCEPT Wednesdays. Friday, Saturday and Sunday afternoons until evenings are my best bet.

If I'm on... grab me and I can help out. I've completed all the SF quests, but lack Final Assault completion (stupid henchies won't stand next to the flame dijinns after standing still so nicely for the forge fire.... GRUMBLE

Maybe a bit off topic ... isn't there an option on proboards for showing a calendar - this could be useful for our planning activities.
Mazz trying to remember

Maybe a bit off topic ... isn't there an option on proboards for showing a calendar - this could be useful for our planning activities. There is, but it's somewhat restricted in functionality, and from experience, nobody uses it. I've turned it back on anyway if you want to give it a go.

Looks like 6 people have said they can go, and others would like to but can't make the time.
So lets keep this date as planned. If enough show up, we can go ahead and do it. If there is enough interest, we can probably arrange a second trip too.

If there is enough interest, we can probably arrange a second trip too. You've got the option of throwing Heroes in to round out the party to the total of 8. (use all the Paragons you can get! Going with fewer people, rather than waiting, will probably be the healthier option for these outings. It keeps the ball rolling on these outing events. In other news, my Paragon is now up to Camp Rankor, so he'll be able to attend some Tombs or SF outings in the future. He seems to be a more flexible fit into most parties than my Warrior. (plus more folks have warriors that can attend already) Come to think of it, that means he now has access to every elite area in the game, aside from Slaver's Exile. Time to get rolling on GW:EN then, I s'pose.
