Ooh fun. Weapons don't take so much time to do.
"We are unable to accept electronic entries for this contest."
That's a little odd. I guess they don't want to deal w/ everyone sending stuff in different formats.

Yeah I kinda thought that was a bit sucky. I'm betting that it had more to do with not wanting to get hit for 4 million emails a day though.
They could have just specified and image size and file format it had to be in. If they wanted them electronically.

I have a "special" scepter all sketched out. But from what I see their e-mail is down? That figures Last time I sent something in I ran into the same issue. I'll wait a bit before sending it in. For you guys who are curious, its an Air Wand.

Yeah, but Radicc... Every day at work I'm getting ads that are supposed to be of a certain size/file format. More often than not, they're wrong in some way. These are companies, ad agencies, and other publications getting this wrong... so imagine what the average joe w/ photoshop/paintshop/paint could do to screw things up.
Weapons just have to be something I sketch from time to time... so I might even be able to dig up an old idea and refine it.

Well if you cant get the right file type then we don't bother with you. Its not like your paying anet to provide you with a contest.

My guess is one of two things - Either their IT guy has them freaked out about virus's and doesn't want them accepting 40,000 attachments or Their Lawyer told them they'd be better off copying a paper version into a digital file rather than modifying a previously created file....hehe. You know how us Americans are with Lawyers . Ahhh, the almighty dollar!! Hadus

I re-read the contest info properly this time. They are ONLY accepting mailed in 8.5 x 11 (or A4) size paper sketches. There are not accepting it any other way.
