Greetings fellow alliance members and guests,
Some of you may have heard or even experienced our crazy parties in our guild hall. These have left the guild hall a bit run down and in need of some decorating ideas.
We ask of you to help us in our quest for items greatly needed to improve our guild hall. These items will be worked out over the next couple of weeks and presented at the working bee. It would be greate if all of us could meet, split into teams of four, search for the items and then gather back to present the items and have a party. There will be prizes for the winning team and running up teams. More specific details below...
Date: 27th of May
Time: 12GMT
Conversions: 22:00 at +10, 6:00 at -6 and 12:00 at 0
Duration: 1 ½ hours
Agenda:
12GMT - Arrive at Fisherman's Haven international district 1 at 12GMT. Fisherman's haven is North of Sanctum Cay for those who may have not mapped it. All participating members are to gather around the fire and form into teams of 4 trying to not party with your own guild members. Once you have a complete team travel over to the small island (yes you have to get your feet wet).
12:15GMT – I will announce the list of 7 required items in the alliance chat window. I suggest you scribble these down on a piece of parchment. If you forget any I will be waiting in fisherman's haven to prompt you with the list.
12:30GMT (or around about) – The teams can take off and search for the items.
When your team has all items or at 1:30GMT – Your team is to arrive back in Fisherman's haven. As you arrive your team leader is to announce that “*Insert team name here* has returned to base”. I will return the greeting and your team leader is to return to the island while the rest of the team waits on the mainland. I will then trade with the team leader to see the items. I will not take the items from you as I have enough junk in my inventory
The winning team will either be the first team back to base with all items or the team with the most items. There will be a first and second prize. Teams with highly creative names or entries will get a present too.
After 1:30GMT – big alliance party and possibly some friendly GvG or scrimmages or missions or all of them
Final words
This is a good chance to get to know some members from other guild in the alliance. The event is open to any guild of the alliance and also any guilds who may wish to join the alliance.
You are able to talk, play with and trade with other teams as long as you stick with your team mates.
As the world is round (who thought up that crazy concept) there will be some people who can not make it. Please don't feel left out or like you need to be up at a crazy hour. I will rotate the time of future events so that all timezones get to have an event. Some of these, other people will host because I need to sleep too
As I am likely to change my mind on items between now and the event it is not worth bugging me to find out what the items will be. I am the only one who has the list so that other officers can enjoy the fun so don't bother questioning them on the items.
Kind regards,
Nenearen
