Greetings to thee Hadus, Master scout Kaia, We at the Blitzers are interested in opening discussions as to that alliance you speak about, unfortunately my mandate does not permit me to set terms and conditions for which I am quite distressed. As you ask about description I have this to say, we are a guild open to people of all origins dedicated to helping our guildmates however weak they may be so that they might grow stronger someday we have little to no interest in those fraternal battles taking place on that far away land you call Cantha and neither do we feel that killing fellow warriors to please Balthazar is a good thing to do. As my mandate does indeed authorises me to do so I invite you to come to our hall and open discussions if you feel an interest to do so I've drawn you a map gw.theblitzers.org so that you may safely reach us. May fate look kindly on you and yours, kind regards, Darakus - officer of the Blitzers guild

Hail Darakus....and well met I presume? It is tough times indeed for the battle worn. These lands are very unforgiving and I for one am glad you stopped by to discuss our two guilds future. Our elders are gathering from around the countryside to meet for council. I'm sure you will hear from them once they have had a chance to discuss this important matter.
Until then Darakus - officer of the Blitzers guild, I bid you safe journeys.

* Nenearen Bows * Greetings Master Scout Kaia and Hadus, As the leader of the Blitzers Guild I formally request an alliance with your guild. The Blitzers Guild are a fun international guild with players from such places as Australia, Europe and America. I am grateful that High council member Darakus has approached your guild with our request and our description. I hope to look forward to many enjoyable inter guild events between us and other members of the alliance. It would be a pleasure to have you visit our home and say hello. I will also come back here to hopefully continue discussions on an alliance. Kind regards, Nenearen On a side note I noticed that it was codfael's birthday today. Happy Birthday Codfael! I hope there was not too much chocolate and dwarven ale consumption.

It is very nice for you to come to the Scouts of Tyria Message Board, Nenearen. Our Guild is also quickly becoming an International Guild. We have a number of active players on both the American and European servers and we meet quite often on the International Districts to party up. From what I see on your Guild webpage you seem like a very friendly guild. Perhaps we can get a group together composed of Blitzers and Scouts. My in game name is "Volitar Aurelianus." Also, I am wondering; are The Blitzers going Luxon or Kurzick for Factions? Thanks for coming here and seeking an alliance

Becoming? Kaia is from Australia and we already had a few Canadian's, so I think we already were international. We are just expanding to be a global guild. We just need some of those asian dudes and we got them all.
Mmm Wolrd Domination sounds so good to me.

Thankyou for your visit to our site Volitar and Hadus and your quick replies.
As many of us did not feel a strong pull to either side of the battle we decided to find a friendly alliance to have many adventures with and then go with the side they chose. Personally I enjoy the company of the turtles and would be distraught to have to kill them.
To the question of why join an alliance, we are joining an alliance to give our members the best opportunity of exploring the new lands and to make some new friends. It would also be nice to bring colour to the Kurzicks lands even though it will be the red of their own blood.
Recently we have been holding guild events between 9:00GMT and 12GMT or around 20GMT on a Saturday or Sunday and would love to set a time to get together for some fun. We have access to a teamspeak server to make communication across multiple people easier. You are welcome to join us on it and the details can be found in the side panel of our website.
I hope this answers your questions.
Kind regards, Nenearen

I would be happy to join you all in a Guild event you are holding. I do not have Team Speak since I do not have a Microphone though. I hope that is okay?

Greetings Volitar,
Of course it is okay to not have teamspeak although even with no microphone we still encourage our members to log in as it allows for better communication ;D that said we won't force anybody who doesn't feel like it to join the server.
Kind regards,
Darakus

The Blitzers formally invite all members of Scouts of Tyria and friends to join them in their guild hall around 12GMT and 20GMT this Saturday the 23rd of April. We have worked hard at getting the guild hall nice and clean for your visit. Well actually not really hard, cleaning day ended up being a water fight in our pond. Cloe and Pete, our frogs, are also looking forward to your visit. Please forgive us for the two Kurzicks in the hall, we can't get rid of them. Maybe they will disapear when you turn up. Also don't mind ugga agga (the pointing necro in the pic) we are trying and often failing to teach him manners. We have some suggestions for some fun events that we can do together but as most of the time these are broken to go and do something else more fun, we will decide on the day depending how many people are attending. The best plan is to contact either Nenearen Eilianu, Emerald Mooncat (Darakus) or Stydracos Rivenbow in game or on teamspeak and go from there. All are welcome on the teamspeak server if you wish. As Darakus stated, many people who don't have mics often come on just to listen. We don't force anybody to be on teamspeak to as only the brave can put up with gworthox's singing. Kind regards, Nenearen [edit]changed to more appropriate time[/edit]

Thanks so much for the invite, and I would love to come for the visit... But if I am not mistaken, 9:00GMT is like 4:00AM EST? That is too early for me ... Anyone please correct me if I am wrong about the time, so I can come to the event.

Close celes....now that we have entered daylight savings time (DST) here in the states it's only 5:00 AM but that does make it 2:00 AM for anyone on the west coast of the US. On the bright side that does make it around dinner time for Australia... Perhaps the Scouts can organize an additional outing at one of the other times mentioned in an earlier post (12 GMT or 20 GMT) to accomodate those still in a dream state at 9 GMT... ;D. FYI - here is a link for anyone confused as to where you fit into the world of GMT. And lastly...that was a very nice welcome Nenearen!! You all look like a fun bunch and I'm sure good times are ahead for this alliance of adventurers.

Firstly hi and welcome to all the blitzers! I look foward to meeting you all on saturday (after all who wouldn't want to meet a guild lead by a female aussie ranger? ) If i'm not mistaken 12GMt would be around 10pm on this side of our little island so that should be fine for me. See you all soon!

As much as I can't wait to get to know the wonderful members of The Blitzers, I will be in the process of changing my residence from the halls here in the White Tower to much larger accommodations for my beautiful wife and the child she now bears. So I will be unfortunately detained, and will not be available again til the second day of the following week. Until the time that we are able again to meet, I bid you happy hunting and good fortune for all.
