Don't worry theres no way I will ever get any of the vanquishing titles. Just getting all the missions and bonuses is gonna be a chore for me to accomplish. Which is why me maxing any title is just amazing.
How long till GW2? I might get the Sunspear title maxed by then, maybe.

I'm kind of in awe of you kolks with lots of maxxed out titles. I make the excuse that I just don't spend enough time online to get max titles but the truth is I'm just not that good at playing GW.
Anyway, one of my main projects this year is to get my oldest character, Patti Labelle (ranger), to at least Kind Of A Big Deal. She currently has 3 titles: Tyrian GMC, Protector of Tyria and Tyrian Elite Skill Hunter. Getting GMC was a major effort and I don't think I want to try for any more GMC titles. I'm thinking of maybe trying for the other two Elite Skill Hunter titles as I already have a few elites for both Elona and Cantha, and its useful to have the elite skills. The downside is the cost at 1k per Signet of Capture.
My other possibility is to max out Sunspear and Lightbringer points by farming at Sulphurous Wastes. Just how much of a grind is it? Can it be done with H/H or do you need to get in a PUG (I don't have much HM experience)? Is this the best farming location?

Hench/Hero is just fine, if you still have these 2 quests ("Requiem for a Brain" and "Show of Force" I think). Groups usually have 5+ members, PUGs prefer 5 for better exp and drops, I use 6 when H/H for speed. Managing 4-5 runs per hour is a good turnout; you reap ~600 LB points (and SS). So you need 15-25 hours grind for two titles, which is a bargain. If you are not into treasure chests you'll also get good money in HM from drops.

She currently has 3 titles: Tyrian GMC, Protector of Tyria and Tyrian Elite Skill Hunter. Have you completed the other campaigns? Getting the masters done on all the Canthan and Elonian missions would sort you out with 2 more protector titles. But then I'm a sucker for doing missions, so that's the natural title for me.

Patti hasn't finished Factions or Nightfall yet. She's at Unwaking Waters (Kurzick) and Gyala Hatchery (Luxon) in Factions and at Gate of Madness in Nightfall. So I will be spending time to get both of those campaigns finished, but to get masters in all the missions? - I am just hopeless at the timed missions. I gave up on getting masters in Factions when I failed again and again at Vizunah Square. It drove me nuts. I have the same problem with Grand Court of Sebelkeh in Nightfall. I'm sure I could get masters on those with Scouts help...hint hint...but I can rarely play when there are a lot of Scouts online.
I think I'll concentrate on capturing elite skills to get my next two titles.

No problem - maybe make your own "planing" thread with missions to do and announce when you will be on. Noir did sth like it, was probably nice to tick of more and more tasks. At least it was for me and the "chicken run" That way I can bring characters who still need the missions /bonus, and can plan when to be on.

Thanks everyone. I'll definitely be looking for some help next week, during UK daytime.
Hey Lee, you are often online when I'm on - remember Missee Lee? She's my mesmer. As I said above, I'll be most playing Patti, my ranger. I'll be whistling!
(sorry for getting so off-topic!)

With help from Lee, Ano, Stormy and maybe others that I forget (thanks to everyone) I managed to get enough skill points to be able to achieve Legendary Skill Hunter and, therefore, the first rung on the Kind of a Big Deal ladder with Patti, my ranger. I'm now totally broke!!

Grats Shanaya! Legendary Skill hunter requires a lot of devotion and funds to attain! Now you can freely equip all hero builds when you have unlocked elites (of course you should unlock some normal skills too...)

I might get around to that one some day, but I doubt it. Enjoy your new build options

Congrats Shanaya! That sounds exactly like when I joined the Scouts - hungry, broke, and looking for more cap siggies. The trick is to scam the new recruits.
