The ToA to Sactum is a good practice run. Also, the Amoon Oasis to Argury rock is a fun one, escpecially trying to activate those portals while being eating by all those spindly leggy things. (As you can see, I'm not very good at remembering monster names)
When I get bored with doing PvE stuff, I'll take Lame O out for some running practice. I spent the other day tweaking her armor and skills and got her set up for running everywhere, except I need some frosted griffon wings for another shield to switch out while running in the hex heavy areas.
Still, the Drok's run is BY FAR the hardest one.
I should be able to join a team this weekend for a quick battle to Drok's or Rancor.

scarabs ;D I remember the feeling of being eaten alive well - when my first monk arrived there, w/o elite skills, not even 20 at the time... And stupid companions who spread out to draw 3 groups at one time, even when explicitely requesting to stick together... It was funny that I could hench it, but failed with players each time. Hm, do you use a strenght shield or would a tactics one do as well? I think I might have a few jawbones. And there are counterparts in factions, although Kirin or warden horns are not im my storage. But then a warrior can solo farm griffons from Rankor, so the wings should be easiest...

Sounds like a plan barring any unforseen difficulties. By difficulties, I mean that the wife may come to me wanting to do something around that time and I will be obliged to say ok in the interests of spending time together Other than that, I don't see any issues Christian

That's it! Thanks! I use two tactics shields. The collectors crimson carapace shield, which gives you +45 HP and -2 damage while in a stance. I got a drop yesterday of a pretty decent gold shield I'm going to use while running though the hex heavy areas. It has a health +48 while hexed and reduces bleeding 20% which may be good if I run through a Pinesole trap. I want to get the frosted griffon wings for the other collector shield. Hmmm. I may have to try that for a while today. OK Drok's fight this weekend 6GMT. I should be able to be there!

That's why I asked, because the hex collector's shield you get for griffon wings is strength based; you receive a tactics shield in the desert (for massive jaw bones) or in silent surf (kirin horns).

Well, my only attributes are in strength and tactics anyway, so either one will do.
