Had great fun with this trip. (Thanks for the scroll Stormy). For some reason the monster-AI seems to ignore mesmers (Ok- forget the lone wolf killing incident on the fire bridge ). My newest experimental build (FC 15, Insp 13) could do 276 damage (armor ignoring) to mobs - while interrupting and leaking in 4 seconds. I noticed though that the mobs got 82 damage per spell instead of the 92 that was expected (armor ignoring). Do these wolves get 10 base damage reduction?.
Anyway, I had a great time. Mazz

It was very nice to have an All Guild Adventure like this again. We should do it more often. Having most of us on TS added to the atmosphere and probably also to the confusion which again added to the fun. I know Urgosz can be done in just over 2 hours by a well built and prepared group. I know enough of The Deep and Tombs to lead a group through there in shorter times, still having all the fun. Even could (accidentally of course) cause some confusion and unfortunate mishaps for the greater good and fun of the entire group . Knowing where to go and which essential skills to bring in a team will help. But then again: we are Scouts of Tyria and we have been known to do missions in the most awkward circumstances. Like doing this with only 1 monk must sound rather insane to most people, but we managed well with the additional heal and prot of a Ritualist and Paragons. Job well done! Leaving Angel behind in certain places to play cards with her Spirits was rather cruel; it was so nice of Stormy to volunteer for that job later on even though, modest as he is, he didn't tell us about that untill we finally reached the Inner Sanctum of Urgosz. And now for the accents. I know it must have been said millions of times. Americans accusing British (the inventors of that language) of having a funny accent maybe is something to be discussed in the next United Nations Council. Should everyone follow what the Americans have done to the original distinguished Language of the Royal British Empire? Taking the Hot Potato (and please pronounce that word well as my English (not American!) teacher always told me) from your mouth while speaking to replace it with some cheap chewing gum does feel a bit like going downhill. Easy and "go with the flow", but just not right. For Towel this all comes naturally, but for a Dutchy like me the danger of developing a multiple split personalities lurks like a group of Thorn Wolves in every of Urgosz Warren's Chambers. I actually find myself answering posts to Towel and Dante and other British Noblemen using words like behaviour and armour, constantly correcting the devious spell check that goes with the posts. Answering to Yankees (which are all Americans to us Europeans like us Dutch are called Germans by them) I use that typical American accent which sounds (and writes) soooooo ordinary. But I gave up teaching Americans to pronounce and write everything how it should be done even before starting it. I think we'll have to wait till we are with more Europeans than Americans in this guild before we can officially announce English (Not American) the Official Guild Speak. Perhaps my fellow Dutchman Mazz can already start preparing for that by adding a chapter to his Grand History of Scouts of Tyria! It was fun to be in a group of such diverse people trying to achieve a common goal and have fun together while doing that. That is what I am in the game for! So let's go for the next. Sorrows Furnace sounds good to me. I have been there so many times but never bothered to complete the quest chain. It's about time to set that straight! Anomander

I thought about it, and there's no point to an American saying "toe-mah-toe" when everyone else around them says otherwise. (I've never known anyone American who says it that way... or "poe-tah-toe") So, rather than sticking out like a sore thumb here, I'll live with having the "wrong" accent just on TS. ;D I'm not sure how American "writes" differently, unless you mean armor/armour, flavor/flavour, etc. Discussions like these always interest me. Colloquialisms perhaps, but not everyone uses them and they vary from area to area. I would expect the same variations occur in British english, though I'm not familiar with them. It's similar to being able to identify someone's home by their accents, which I could do for Americans but not British. Brits drive on the wrong side of the road, while we're at it... (Any disparaging comments heard from me about foreign accents are done tongue-in-cheek, btw) This is also interesting, in light of the topic. Sorrow's Furnace works for me as well. Currently, my only toon there is my Warrior. I do plan on advancing my Paragon far enough to join us though, to give our party another option. After checking the planned SF trip time though, I may not be able to attend anyway.

Hehe, I was just joking with you on that one. We pronounce that the same as you (i.e. "puh-tey-toe"). It's funny, in the UK at least we probably have more regional accents than the whole of the US, in the land area of 1-2 US states. ;D And congrats Ano, for taking us *just a little* bit off-topic.

That "Lucky Aura" didn't do me much good. Seems only others can see it on you, which is odd. Nobody knows what it does either. (if anything)
