Hi All!
I've been playing GW since May '05 and believe or not, I've NEVER been in a Guild. It's not that I'm anti-social or that I don't enjoy playing with PUGs (I don't that often, but when I get into a good one, I find I have lots of fun with it), frankly, I've never found a Guild that sounded like they focused on playing the way I like to play. Then again, I've never actively looked for a Guild until recently (and I'm not sure why I started looking now... ).
Scouts of Tyria sounds like it has just what I'm looking for. Exploring new areas is what I like best. I do missions and piddle about at PvP, but I seriously like finding places I've never been before. I also have a tendency to spread my time among too many characters (I've currently got 12 and NONE of them have finished every chapter). I'd like to get at least several of my main ones thru everything in the game, but that's not highly important to me.
I also enjoy helping others in-game when I can and I'm always looking for ways to improve my own game play. While I'm not highly competitive, I enjoy a challenge and finding a solution to any sticky problem. Here are some of my IGNs
Berlyku Ghomyzashi (Assassin)
Cytol Rholla (Necromancer)
Brother Grimore (Dervish)
Ramorah Tymojin (Ranger)
Ludor Chaoz (Mesmer)
Mystorrah Tymojin (Elementalist)
As for me, I'm 40ish (yeah, too old for gaming, but I'm a kid at heart) and am an IT Manager at a small manufacturing plant in central Mississippi (USA). I have a wonderfully understanding wife, 2 great kids and a grandson that's the smartest 5 year old I've ever met (what, me biased?, nah!). I've been a gamer since the late 70's and have been working with computers since then so I can bring some technical expertise to the guild as well (notice you guys have a computer forum....).
I usually play a few hours every night and a bit more on the weekends (when possible). Hope to hear from some of you and don't be bashful about PMing me in game!
